About Amy:
I'm a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, where I earned a BS in Political Science (1994), and I went on to complete a Master's in International Relations at Texas A&M University (1995).
I served five years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, working as a Health Care Administrator and helping implement Tricare — the Department of Defense's newly launched managed care insurance program — across the military health system.
In 2003, I co-founded Evidence in Motion, an education company serving the physical therapy industry that has since been acquired by a private equity firm. I also co-founded RISE Academy, a homeschool co-op, and have spearheaded numerous philanthropic and charitable initiatives throughout my career.
For five years, I served as a Vistage Chair, leading a CEO peer advisory group through the challenges of Covid while simultaneously scaling my own coaching business. I bring deep experience in leading professionally facilitated peer advisory groups that help CEOs, business owners, and senior executives become better leaders, make better decisions, and achieve stronger results.
I launched my company, Align Executive Coaching, to work with high-performing leaders who want to align their values, actions, and relationships in pursuit of excellence.
I hold an Executive Coaching Certification from UT Dallas, a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a Certified Change Management Practitioner (CCMP) designation through ACMP. My additional certifications include the EQi 2.0 Assessment through MHS, and I frequently coach on emotional intelligence and navigating transitions. I'm also MLT Certified through the Jon Gordon Companies and have a genuine passion for helping teams thrive.
Above all, my heart belongs to my faith and my family — including my five adult children, my son-in-law, and being "Omie" to three grandchildren.
